Hey guys.

Today we’re going to talk about a new substance called Graphene.

What is Graphene?

Well, Graphene is a thin layer (1 atom thick) of Carbon. It has special properties that make it what it is. For example, it is an amazing conductor of electricity and it can even be used as solar panels, the possibilities are endless. Its such a diverse material, it can be used in so many different areas. The one main feature to me that stands out, is the fact that it can be used as a transistor. Not just one, but millions. Just think if we could harness that power. Technology would be so much different than today and personally, I believe this is the way forward, with nanotechnology like this, the iPad looks like a toy from the days back when steam was used.
