Today we’re going to talk about a new substance called Graphene.

What is Graphene?

Well, Graphene is a thin layer (1 atom thick) of Carbon. It has special properties that make it what it is. For example, it is an amazing conductor of electricity and it can even be used as solar panels, the possibilities are endless. Its such a diverse material, it can be used in so many different areas. The one main feature to me that stands out, is the fact that it can be used as a transistor. Not just one, but millions. Just think if we could harness that power. Technology would be so much different than today and personally, I believe this is the way forward, with nanotechnology like this, the iPad looks like a toy from the days back when steam was used.

Hi guys, sorry for not posting in ages, I’ve just been busy with exams and revision. However, now Ive finished that stuff, it’s time for a project, my self and Richard lane have been building and designing a game for the Mac and PC, I cannot reveal to many details other than it is a 2d driving game. Answer develop this game further I will eventually reveal on this blog what it is, but for now it is top secret. Be sure to check back on the latest info on the game!

I got home today and I put my iPad on and went on garage band, I started playing with the piano and the aggregator, the aggregator makes the piano vary in pitch 4 times in a second or whatever. I then came up with an awsome tune, it will be on sound cloud soon!

Sup! It came across to me that the schools discos aren’t quite up to scratch with the latest tunes and singles. It also came across to me that dubstep is a hugely popular style of music at the moment. Guess what! Yes that’s right! Imagine it, the wub wub wub getting the hole crowd stirred up and then the bass drops. Now that would be good.

Looking around on the Internet, blogs, YouTube, minecraft, I always stumble a cross the word of notch and it’s pretty much all about tf2. It gets me wondering what it exactly is. I know it’s a game, I just don’t know what game console it’s for or what the aim of the game is. Despite my wonderings, I have seen gameplay of tf2 with notch and the yogscast, it looks insane, but I just don’t understand!

I cant help but be annoyed at examination boards. Every year they are changing the syllabus and refining there answers. You may not know, but at the moment I am taking my Gcse’s, now I am not saying they are a waste of time, they are the complete opposite, but to be honest it really gets on my wick when they mark you down for misspelling a “scientific word”. It’s ridiculous. One thing I can say though is thank god for practise papers.

Hello to the people reading this (a handful) and thanks for coming to check up on my blog. The reason why I first started this blog is because…well, there is no reason, I guess I just wanted to expand on my social practises. Im not typical, where I just write about what interests me, i’m an amateur and unexperienced blogger talking about a week in the life of education and a good old afternoon of hard graft on Minecraft. Damn, I think I just contradicted myself by expressing a ‘typical interest’. Anyway, every week, maybes even few days, I am going to write a bit about factors of life and general observations whilst walking home from school.
